Review: Essence Soft touch Mousse Make Up

Hey'all!!!

 After 2 years of not bloggin, I'm pretty much getting back on the track. First off, this quick review of my new found foundation/concealer from Essence :)

Essence is a new brand for the Philippine make up junkies, well in fact this beand is well known to other countries thats why when I saw them on Watsons at SM Bicutan, I really took my time to memorize everything I saw and google it up :)

Furthermore, Essence is a makeup brand for teens especially beginners to make up. It claims to be made in Germany.

So without further a due, here is my review :) (and it rhymes)

What it looks on my face:
 This was only with first layer of the make up. I didnt put a lot because it was freaking hot.

So this was the before on my right cheeks

Before on my left cheeks

What I like about this :
Affordable :) 16g for Php289.00
Reachable
Texture is so soft
Feels very light on the skin
Lasts a very long time if set in powder
My skin looks very flawless after I put it in even without powder foundation
Makes my skin tone even
The packaging is nice just dont drop it might break



What I dont like about this:
No ingredients at the back
Glass jar makes me nervous that I might drop it and it would break
I think it kinda breaks me out. But not pretty sure because of the weather and my working conditions


All in all, Its a so-so product for me. I'll try to experiment with it regards to the breaking out issues. I still need to figure out why am I am breaking out so bad these days and I hope this is not the culprit.

REVIEW: Maybelline Mineral Power Concealer in Cream

Yes, I am back for another review! Maybelline's Mineral Power Concealer in Cream which I bought for Php150 or $3 together with another products that I've won in an auction AGAIN which includes Maybelline Pure Makeup and a L'oreal Auto lip pencil in nude! for Php100. Isn't it cheap! The concealer that I bought was on sale Online because if I will buy this at Watsons it will cost me Php499 or $10 more or less. 

Here's my review:

                                     Has a Doe foot applicator which is alright for me :)

                         concealing power on hand using my L'Oreal Autopencil Lip liner in Nude

TEST TIME:
Concealing power

                                                 my overly red acne scars on my right cheeks

one layer of concealer

                                                    with two layers of concealer

                                              and lastly with three layers of concealer

OVERALL RATING:
Pros:

* nice staying power

* decent coverage because its buildable

* has a faint cosmetic scent but not noticeable unless you will sniff it 

Cons:
*oils up my face

*sits on my pores making it more noticeable

* not that opaque enough to completely conceal my acne scars with one layer

*cakes when applied too much layer 

REVIEW: Nichido Multiple Stick in Sunset Glow

Everyone wants to have that blooming glow on their face right? who wouldn't want that

When I was at SM Bicutan running around my errands, I saw this on sale at watsons 50% off! I swatched it immediately on the back of my hand and I was in love with it I bought it for Php84 as I remembered correctly.

                    the label was scratched off because I always put this on my makeup pouch :)

                                I totally love adore the effort of Nichido on putting exp. date

                                               the flash ate the color sorry about that

                                               see how lovely this multiple stick is?

                                when blended, you will have this beautiful glow on your face

OVERALL RATING:
Pros:

*Cheap even if it wasn't on sale Php 100 +

*can be used as a lipstick,blush and even as a base on your lids :)

*travel friendly

*very convenient packaging

*little goes a long way

* no cosmetic scent at all

Con:

*doesn't stay very long only 3-5 hours

(but you can always reapply)

REVIEW: Fanny Serrano Concealer Stick

What: Fanny Serrano Concealer Stick in Sand


it says it has Vitamin E and waterproof


Where to Buy: Watsons (I bought mine at SM Manila Watsons)


this is a little light for me by the way ecause the SA told me that it suits my skin tone well NOT!! but its okay I got my foundation a little darker so its alright because I got my foundation a a shade darker so its okay.


How much: Php 299 as far as I can remember




Moving on to the review..

*Consistency:


Well its okay its a little slippery maybe because it has Vitamin E






*Smell: 


Smells like Vanilla for me it not really overwhelming the smell vanishes as you put it on your face

                                    
                    Yes used it up but it has pretty much product inside since I bought this last May and I share almost all my make up with my twin sister because she's very stingy and I hate it

*Concealing Power

               okay I used the Shawill Liquid Eyeliner (click the link for the review)because it super pigmented and stays on put

   first layer of the concealer

                                                          
                          I think this was the 3rd layer yeah it caked and didn't conceal the liner perfectly. It was really disappointing or I just don't know how to use it properly I don't know what happened really



* Waterproofiness?


Sorry I don't have any pictures to show you guys its really embarrassing haha

yes its waterproof  but you can remove it easily if you rub your face with water and soap of course


*Lasting Power?


Doesn't last long for my oily face stays for about 3-4 hours

Concealing Power: 3/5
Waterproofiness: 4/5


All in all, I cannot say that this is my Holy Grail Concealer because it didn't conceal the liner at all and it doesn't stays put all day and leaves my face oily after 3-4 hours maybe this isn't for me. Have anything to recommend?
